Educational Qualification
Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are studying in the final year of an Engineering Degree are eligible to apply.
Candidates appearing in the final year of the Engineering Degree course must submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with mark sheets of all semesters/years on or before 01 October 2026.
Such candidates must also produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).
Candidates who fail to produce the required degree certificate within the stipulated time will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis. The bond will be applicable for recovery of the cost of training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA), as notified from time to time, along with stipend, pay, and allowances paid.

Army SSC Technical Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
1. Shortlisting of Applications
Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix the cut-off percentage of marks for each Engineering discipline/stream without assigning any reason.
The cut-off will be applied stream-wise based on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained by candidates up to the final semester/year.
Candidates studying in the final semester/year will be provisionally allowed to appear for the SSB interview.
2. Centre Allotment
After shortlisting of applications, the Selection Centre allotment will be intimated to candidates through their registered email ID.
After allotment of the Selection Centre, candidates will be required to log in to the official website and select their SSB interview dates on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
Subsequently, the dates may be allotted by the Selection Centres. The option to select SSB dates may be forfeited due to exceptional circumstances or events.
3. Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview
Only shortlisted and eligible candidates, based on the cut-off percentage, will be called for the SSB interview at one of the Selection Centres located at:
- Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh)
- Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)
- Bengaluru (Karnataka)
- Jalandhar Cantt (Punjab)
The SSB interview will be conducted by a team comprising a Psychologist, Group Testing Officer (GTO), and Interviewing Officer.
The selection process will be conducted in two stages:
- Candidates who clear Stage-I will proceed to Stage-II.
- Candidates who fail in Stage-I will be returned on the same day.
The total duration of the SSB interview process is five days.
